Dogtree Pines Senior Dog Sanctuary is thrilled to announce their 2nd Annual Fundraising event on September 28, 2024. The ‘Big Event’ will be held from 1pm-4pm at the beautiful Williamson Valley home and art studio of Wendy Smith-Rogers, located at 2885 W Levie Lane in Prescott, AZ. The home overlooks Prescott National Forest and Granite Mountain off the back living spaces, in addition to offering gorgeous views of Flagstaff and Williams off the front of the home. A gifted artist, Wendy has enjoyed creating art all her life, always seeking innovative ideas and techniques. Fun art activities to be held at the event include wine glass painting with sample designs ranging from dot patterns to flowers. Additionally, a river rock painting class will be offered, with sample designs ranging from a mandala pattern to a simple image. Either class will be sure to get your creative juices flowing as well as provide you with a fun keepsake! All supplies will be furnished. The event will also feature plenty of other fun activities including a silent auction, raffles, live music and a few surprises! Delicious hors d’oeuvres will be served, courtesy of El Gato Azul and Torme, as well as scrumptious sweet treats, courtesy of Chrissy Cakes. Tickets are $100 and all proceeds will be used to care for the dogs at Dogtree Pines Senior Dog Sanctuary. To purchase tickets, or for more information, please send an email to Events@DogTreePines.com. Tickets are limited. If you are unable to attend, please consider donating to Dogtree Pines Senior Dog Sanctuary by visiting www.DogTreePines.com. Dogtree Pines Senior Dog Sanctuary is located on 5 ½ acres in the pines of Prescott AZ. Dogtree Pines is dedicated to rescuing medically at-risk, medium to large breed dogs, typically 10 years or older. They support the dogs in their care with nutritious homemade food & supplements, veterinary care & medications, exercise & enrichment and plenty of love & respect. They provide their seniors with the amazing life that they deserve in their golden years, keeping them comfortable and happy and letting them go with grace, love and dignity when the time comes. No kennels, no cages, no runs - just dogs living happily together as part of a loving family of volunteers. As Dogtree Pines Founder Cindy Lamont has said, "Dogs don't come here to die, they come here to live."
