Don't Spend Christmas Alone

“Don’t Spend Christmas Alone” - December 25th at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Prescott This year will be our 39th annual ‘Don’t Spend Christmas Alone’ community outreach dinner at St. Luke’s Parish. ”Don’t Spend Christmas Alone” will provide a complete no cost hot Christmas dinner and fellowship for everyone in the Quad City area who may be alone or feel alone on this day. Last year approximately 950 dinners were served. Some people were new to the community, others couldn’t be with family members for various reasons, some had no homes and some just felt alone. Dinner will be served at the Parish from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on Christmas Day. Along with the meal guests can enjoy carols and even a visit from Santa! Volunteers will visit the homebound and deliver a meal so they too may feel a part of the community celebration. St. Luke’s Parish located at 2000 Shepherds Lane—one block North of the Airport entrance on Hwy 89. Various pick up and return points are also available for transportation to St. Luke’s.
