Tips for Shredding

• Credit Card Offers & Junk Mail: Shred Immediately
• Old Credit Cards: Shred Expired or Canceled Cards
• Expired ID’s and Passports: Shred to prevent misuse
• Old Bank Statements: Shred statements older than one year
• Medical Records & Statements: Shred once you no longer need them typically after 7 years
• Medical Bills: Keep for one year unless they’re used for insurance claims or tax purposes
• Tax Returns: Keep for 7 years
