Inflatable Costume Race for Charity
POLAR BEARS, UNICORNS & LANDSHARKS ... OH MY! A dozen fast running individuals are gearing up for a race for charity that’s taking place at Arizona Downs on August 24. But these runners won’t be wearing your typical racing gear. Instead, they will be donning inflatable costumes when they break from the starting gate in a race to the finish line to win a pot of cash for their selected charities, including Boys & Girls Club of Central Arizona, AARF Animal Rescue and Sanctuary, the Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund, the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society, among others. Fans can get in on the fun by participating in a 50/50 raffle and voting for the charity/inflatable costume character they think will win the race. Proceeds will be split between the winning ticket holder and the winning charity.
