Lean Processes Workshop For business owners and their teams Learn the basics of Lean Principles to improve your organization’s operations throughout the company. During this 4-hour workshop, you will work hands-on to identify areas of waste and/or improvement that you can put into action immediately. The workshop includes: Lean Definitions (Lead time, Cycle time, Value Added vs. Non Value Added) The 8 Wastes Selected Tools from the House of Lean (i.e. 5S, Standard Work, Visual Control, POUS, Pull, Kanban.) The workshop can be modified to include tools that you feel are important for your industry and operation. 2 rounds of Hands-on simulation using Legos An example of how to value stream a process and how to begin attacking real problems Hosted by the Small Business Development Center at Yavapai College February 12, 2019 8:00 am – Noon Refreshments included The fee is $50 per person or $30 per person for any company sending two or more people.
