Prescott Valley Public Library – New Event –Art Sampler for Adults - Acrylic Painting: Flower Still Life – March 6th, 2025- In person program

Prescott Valley Public Library will be hosting an Art Sampler class: Acrylic Painting: Flower Still Life – March 6th, 2025, from 5:30-6:30 pm. In this fun and hands-on class, you'll learn how to paint a beautiful floral still life with acrylics. We'll cover the basics like picking a good composition, mixing colors, and using different brush techniques to bring your flowers to life. You'll also learn how to add depth with light and shadow and put the perfect finishing touches on your piece. By the end, you'll have your own gorgeous painting and the confidence to keep creating. This series is taught by Audrey Ashcraft, a local artist with experience working in many mediums. Having grown up in a military family, she has traveled extensively, allowing her to learn about art and culture from many corners of the globe.
