Prescott Valley Public Library – New Event –Art Sampler for Adults - Watercolors – November 6th, 2024.

Have you ever wanted to try out a new art style but weren’t sure where to start? Have you wanted to play with different mediums but didn’t want to invest in materials before you knew more? Are you someone who just enjoys trying new creative experiences? Whether you have dabbled in other kinds of art or have never picked up a paint brush, this class is for you! This month’s class will introduce you to watercolor painting. The instructor will help participants replicate a landscape image and will focus on the skill of layering. This series is taught by Audrey Ashcraft, a local artist with experience working in many mediums. Having grown up in a military family, she has traveled extensively, allowing her to learn about art and culture from many corners of the globe.
