Prescott Valley Public Library will be hosting the pre-recorded Master Gardener: Seed Saving on October 11th, 2022 @ 4:00 pm. Learn the basics on collecting, preparing, and storing seeds from your garden! You will also learn about the following: • How to choose what seed to save • How to pollinate and avoid “franken fruit” • How to collect and clean seeds • How to dry and store seeds • Saving flower seeds Pre-Recorded presentation by Tricia Michelson Tricia Michelson Tricia is a diehard veggie gardener certified as a Master Gardener in 2013. Believing that gardening is a continual experiment, Tricia takes on new gardening challenges each year. Seed gathering and saving is a part of her growing processes. She grows vegetables inside her home as well as outside and loves sharing the joy of gardening through public speaking engagements throughout the county. This program is free.
