If you’ve taken a workshop with Robert Goldman, this 6-hour course is for you! During the refresher course, Robert reviews the main topics from previous workshops and offers additional insights to help you hone your skills. Students will bring their own reference materials and can work on new paintings, as well as bring works from previous workshops for critique. Robert will help each student individually, offering feedback and guidance to enhance your work. Instructor demos conducted using oil paints will be followed by students’ painting. Individual help will be provided throughout class. About Robert Robert attended the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA where he was accepted with advanced standing and awarded a scholarship. A selected list of workshops includes Ray Vinella, John Asaro, Wolf Kahn, Wayne Thiebaud, Matt Smith, Jove Wang, Phil Starke, Randall Sexton, Ray Roberts, Bill Anton, and Ned Jacob. Robert has received numerous awards and has been included in several books and publications. His work is in the permanent collection of The Grand Canyon Association and he is collected worldwide. In addition, he has been an art teacher for a number of years. In May 2021, Robert will be honored to have his third extensive museum show at the Maynard Dixon Legacy Museum. In 2021 Robert was awarded Signature Membership in the Plein Air Painters of America organization.
