Charlie Russell is rightly considered to be the father of cowboy art in America. Drawing from life experiences as a ‘cow puncher’, trapper, outdoors man, and living for some time with a native tribe, Russell faithfully captured the old West as it faded into history. And in this very special presentation, artist Tom Fox recounts Russell’s story in an entertaining and informative art program that features tales from his fascinating life. It will also offer a generous visual display of Russell’s art.
