Free "Gen License" Classes
The Yavapai Amateur Radio Club (YARC) is offering an opportunity for you to upgrade your Technician Class License to a “General Class License” by offering a free 2 day course (split into two consecutive Saturdays May 4 and May 11) that will prepare you to take the FCC “General Class” License exam. Classes are FREE and will run from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM each Saturday. For more information and to sign up for classes go to the YARC website: www.W7YRC.ORG and click on “Join / Classes.” The classes will be held at the YARC club station located in the Jeep Posse building at: 1200 Commerce Drive, Prescott, AZ 86305 (We are inside “Pioneer Park.” Look for the building with two tall towers with all of the antennas–you cannot miss it!) ***Please note that you must attend both Saturday classes in order to complete this free course.
