Free Ham Radio Exam Prep Classes
The Yavapai Amateur Radio Club (YARC) is offering an opportunity for you to become an Amateur Radio Operator. Two full day classes on Saturday, March 2nd and Saturday March 9th will prepare you to take the FCC entry level “Technician Class” License. Classes are FREE and will run from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM each Saturday. Supplemental study guides are available for only $10.00. The classes will be held at the YARC club station located in the Jeep Posse building at: 1200 Commerce Drive, Prescott, AZ 86305 (We are inside “Pioneer Park.” Look for the building with two tall towers with all of the antennas–you cannot miss it!)
