Prescott Valley Public Library presents Step-by-Step Genealogy on Monday, April 8th, 2024, from 5:00-6:45 pm. Are you curious about your family history but don’t know where to start looking? Join us for the Step-by-Step Genealogy: Tools for Beginning Genealogists class that can help you get started using various tips and tools. This class is taught by Sandra Adragna, who is a professional genealogist. Beginning genealogists will learn how to use the latest family history tools in a step-by-step process that will help anyone start building their family tree. The class will also learn how to look at basic census and vital records. Class Requirements: Please have a free Family Search account (familysearch.org) set up before the class. Bring your Family Search password and any information you have about parents, grandparents, and (if possible) great-grandparents. This program is free. Pre-registration required.
